Hello, My name is Debra and your welcome to call me Dee. I just wanted to share a little bit about myself and how I came into internet marketing. I began studying internet marketing in Dec of 2008. The job I had before I became a internet marketer, was an Executive Director of The Chamber of Commerce. I was also a Grant Writer, an administrative assistant and Pageant Director. Yes I had all these jobs at one time (different offices). It was an overload I mean I was really going nuts. So I quit….. Yea, I know. It was about 32k a year, pretty good? Good enough for a High School Drop Out with a G.E.D. and No College Education. What kind of nut would quit their job and that pay when you had all that other stuff going against you?
Now this happened right before the economy began to take a dump. The work I was performing always had me on the computer so I was very comfortable with the internet. Like I said I did this right before the economy began to turn it was right around the first gas price hike and I knew this was going to kill our home financial situation. I became desperate and found myself constantly trying everything ebay, mlm, starting my own store site and the list goes on.
The economy was not getting any better and gas prices shot up for the second time, so I searched for a regular job willing to take on anything. I went through an employment agency. To make this story short I was informed wrong twice, the agency found a job for me as a bookkeeper at a restaurant and I found myself as a salad prep and pizza cook. The second time I was told it was an office job as an Assistant Manager and found myself as an assembly worker. (Before I did office work I managed and owned a restaurant for nine years) The first job lasted 4 months and the second was also 4 months and I was laid off. It didn’t matter what kind of work I got, I looked at it as work and always considered myself a work-aholic and I was never scared of doing work, it was fun, I was not responsible for anyone.
After a year of not working, I knew I needed to get back online and find how to become self employed with my computer. So I set out to make Internet Marketing a Mission because it was something I have been wanting to do for the past 17 years. I may not have known the term but I knew I wanted to make money with my computer.I can honestly say now that I found Internet Marketing I want to help other people do the same. I want to help people begin a business online, find work online and learn how to become self employed. Maybe you have a business already and just need to know how to promote it.
